My 1st Mother's Day!!!

So I think that today has been one of the best days of my life-really!!! All of you who are mother's understand this and those of you who are not, I hope one day you will get to feel this way!!!! This has got to be the greatest day(other than Christmas/Easter) to celebrate :) Kason and I had the best day together-Kent worked all night so he met us for church and took us to lunch, then Kason took a snoozer, later we headed to Aubree's birthday party (our new little friend turned one!), and last we headed to our neighbors for a cook out to celebrate the day!!! It was sooo much fun :) I love Kason sooo much and what a great day to celebrate him being here and me getting to be a MOMMY! I love this gig :) 5-11-08

I LOVE asparagus!!!!

We have discovered Kason loves asparagus...I think he likes how it feels on his teeth/gums, but he still seems to chew and get a little bit down :) It is soo fun to watch him eat it. He is getting soo big-TOO CUTE!!!

Kason and PawPaw :)

Kason and I spent last week in Andrews visiting grandparent's and great grandparents!! He did so good with all of our family out there...he used to be shy and somewhat scared, but not this visit. He played and giggled with all of them. He kept reaching for PawPaw's hat, but when we put the hat on him he DID NOT think it was so fun!!!! :) We had a blast visiting-we miss you all sooo much!!!

Kason and I played peek-a-boo with the side table the other day...he giggled and smiled from ear to ear!!! I loved it!!! That's my boy!!!!!!!!!!!

Kason went to the zoo for the first time on Tuesday...he seemed to really like it or he was just in a really good mood. I hope he actually saw some of the cool animals-I loved it. All the 'countries/lands' were so neat and the place was VERY clean!!! Overall I had a really great time (we went with Keith, Shawna, and the girls)...I hope it was as much fun for Kason as it was for me :)

TROUBLE-Kason's middle name!!!

Lately Kason has been getting into EVERYTHING! We are remodeling the kitchen so my flour and sugar jars were on the floor in the dining room with the LIGHTS OFF so he wouldn't go in there...didn't stop him and he found the flour!!! HUGE mess...The other shots are of him playing near an end table. It has nothing on the shelves because he uses the table to walk around and play on. Everything near the table gets eaten or thrown. One day I will be able to decorate again :)

Daingerfield State Park

Our neighbors-Keith, Shawna, Madison, and Maci invited us to Daingerfield State Park to join them for the day this past Sunday. They camped for the weekend-so we had the perfect set up for barbecue and smores...YUMMY!!! We also took the kids to the park and then on the lake in paddle boats. It was really fun, but Kason refused the life jacket-sorry for him he didn't get on the water. It was sooo relaxing :)

I LOVE my lion!!! Too CUTE :)

The first few pics are of Kason walking/pushing his lion at his grandma's house. He now not only pushes the lion, but he pushes anything and everything around. Today he pushed his high chair from one side of the kitchen to the other!!! REallY cute :) The other pics are of him relaxing in the sun...his favorite place-outside.

He loves playing in the bath tub!!! Kason likes to read his bath time book as well as eat his duckies heads...fun, fun :)

During 'our' spring break in Andrews, we had a date with Mimi and PawPaw for lunch. After lunch Kason played with his GREAT-grandparents as well as went on his first tractor ride with his PawPaw! He loved it!!! We miss you guys already :)

Happy Easter!!!

We visited my mom and family in Andrews the week before Easter so Kason was able to hunt for the first time with his cousins!! He had just popped up from a nap and was really interested in what was in the eggs not exactly going to get them :) He had a good time watching anyway!! The other pics are of actual Easter Sunday. We had an egg hunt with our neighbors-Madison and Macy-two really cute little gals!!! Kason crawled in our yard to get his eggs, but again really liked the chocolate that was inside!!! That's my boy. (you know he is mine when he crawls as fast as he can for chocolate!!!)

Some fun photos of Kason while we were in Andrews at his Nina's house! We took Kason to Chuckee Cheese for the first time-he was in awww of all the lights and games. My nieces were with us and loved that they got to take Kason for his first visit. I had a really good time visiting my Mom, Grandpa E, and my grandparents (his great)-Mimi and PawPaw (Mimers and Pa). I also got to see some of my girlfriends-Rosie, Judy, and Mandy. It was really nice to get to visit with them. We had a good time-short, but it was worth it!!
